Tour Itinerary

DAY 1 - We travel to our hotel

DAY 2 - During day 2 of your tour we will visit Son Bridge one of the bridges that had to be taken on the way to Arnhem . Veghel Bridge and dropzone . The wings of Liberation Museum , this museum is set within a parkland used as a dropzone for the 101st US Airborne Division and houses combat tanks,planes and vehicles as well as thousands of relics .

We will also visit Grave Bridge on day 2 and the local monuments and cemeteries .

DAY 3 - Day 3 starts in Arnhem and the famous bridge , we will walk the bridge and learn how LT Col John Frost and his men tried in vain to hold the bridge . While in Arnhem we will also visit the Hartenstein Hotel around which the British set up a defense perimeter , today the hotel is a stunning museum telling the story of the battle . Our next stop is the

Tafelberg Hotel where Field Marshal Model set up his HQ . After lunch we will move onto the Museum 40-45 in the town here you will learn of the battle for Europe and see many stunning weapons , uniforms and documents . After the museum visit you will have time to explore the town .

DAY 4 - The morning of day 4 will center around the landing zones and battles of Oosterbeek . We will visit the landing zones west of the town as well as the CWGC cemetery , church and crossroads . After lunch we head to Waal Bridge Nijmegen , the last bridge before Arnhem scene of the heroic amphibious assault to take the bridge . We now move onto the town of Groesbeek to visit the Canadian Cemetery and National Liberation Museum before returning to our Hotel .

DAY 5 - We Return home .
