Tour Itinerary

Day 1 - We will travel South into Normandy and make two stops on day 1 . Our first stop will be the Merville Batterie , this batterie was the

objective of the 9th Battalion Parachute Regiment on D Day . Our final stop of the day is the Atlantic wall museum at Ouistreham .

DAY 2 - Today we make our first stop at Pegasus Bridge and museum , here you will see the original bridge and learn of the glider assault to take this objective . We will then move onto Sword Beach the site of the British assault , Juno Beach and museum in the Canadian sector and finally Gold Beach and museum another of the British sectors on June 4th . Time

Permitting we will make a final stop at Caan Memorial and Visitors center.

DAY 3 - Day 3 starts at Omaha Beach and cemetery , learning of the

assault by the Americans in this sector . You will have time to walk the beach , cemetery and new visitors center before we move onto our second stop of the day . Our second stop is the acclaimed Omaha 1944 Museum , this museum contains thousands of artifacts and military vehicles and is a must for any Normandy tour . We will now visit Pointe Du Hoc the site of the 225 rangers on D Day , this site has been preserved by the American government as it was following the landings with it’s lunar like landscape and destroyed pillboxes .We will now move onto the town of Bayeux and the Battle Of Normandy Museum . Following the museum visit you will be given some free time to explore this delightful town and visit the

Tapestry . From Bayeux we will move onto Utah Beach.

DAY 4 - Our final day of the tour takes us to the Falaise Pocket to learn of the destruction inflicted upon the German army as it tried to escape the Allied advance , we will also visit the Aout Battle Of Falaise museum before making our way back to Calais .
